Resource-based Manufacturing Fortifies The Integrated Palm Value Chain
The Group's global resource-based manufacturing business, comprising our refining, oleochemical and specialty food ingredients, plays an important role in fortifying our integrated palm value chain. It consists of downstream activities such as refining crude palm oil and palm kernel oil, and processing them into oleochemical and food ingredient products as well as converting oil palm trunks into sustainable palm wood panels. With our local and international manufacturing facilities, we are well-equipped to meet the needs of our customers throughout the world.
Refining
IOI Group operates two strategically located, fully certified refineries in Malaysia, supplying domestic and export markets, while prioritising sustainability and minimising environmental impact.
Oleochemical
The division manufactures a wide range of products, from basic fatty acids to specialty derivatives. The four manufacturing facilities from Malaysia and Germany are certified with ISO 9001 and FSSC 22000, and EU-GMP and FDA for pharmaceutical applications.
Specialty Food Ingredients
Our associate company, Bunge Loders Croklaan Group BV (BLC) is a leading global producer and supplier of sustainable plant-based specialty oils and fats for the food manufacturing and food service industry globally.
