IOI Among Top 20 ASEAN PLCs At NACGSA 2025

IOI Corporation Berhad (“IOI”) continues to shine in corporate governance and sustainability leadership, having secured the Overall Excellence Award 2025 (Top 20) at the prestigious National Corporate Governance & Sustainability Awards (NACGSA) 2025, held on 20 January 2026. This achievement places IOI among the Top 20 ASEAN public listed companies (PLCs), reaffirming our strong commitment to ethical leadership, transparency and sustainable value creation.

The award was presented by the Minority Shareholders Watch Group (MSWG) at the Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur. This year, IOI was ranked 20^th out of 847 Malaysian PLCs, with only the Top 50 PLCs recognised across five award categories. Being ranked among the Top 20 reflects IOI’s consistent excellence in both corporate governance and sustainability practices.

The NACGSA honours PLCs that demonstrate integrity in leadership and a clear commitment to long-term value creation, using a comprehensive assessment framework, endorsed by the Corporate Governance Council, integrating the ASEAN Corporate Governance Scorecard anchored on the G20/OECD Corporate Governance Principles, the Malaysian Code on Corporate Governance (MCCG) and the Sustainability Assessment referring the Bursa Malaysia’s Sustainability Reporting Framework. The awards reinforce the importance of accountability, transparency and sustainability in strengthening Malaysia’s capital market and enhancing stakeholder confidence.
