Senior Manager, Internal Audit
Minimum of 15 years internal audit experience preferably in the Plantation or related sectors (with at least 5 years in the Manager capacity).
Candidates must posses at least a Honours Degree in Accountancy and/or Professional Accounting/Auditing Qualifications. CIA qualification would be desirable.
Responsibilities
The incumbent is overall responsible for managing the Lahad Datu and Sandakan Audit Office which include:
Responsible for conducting risk based operational, financial and compliance audits based on the annual audit plan approved by the Audit Committee.
Provide assurance on the adequacy and effectiveness of the governance, risk management and the internal control systems and processes.
Ensure compliance with standard operating policies and procedures, laws and regulations and quality management systems.
Provide advisory services on areas for improvement in business systems, processes, internal controls and operational efficiencies.
Conduct ad hoc assignments like special reviews and investigations as and when the need arises and/or requested by the management.
Timely quarterly and annual audit reporting to the Head Office.
Smooth day to day running of the Lahad Datu and Sandakan Audit Office.
Job Requirements

Well verse with governance, risk management and internal control processes of the Oil Palm Plantation Industry. Added advantage if with exposure in SAP system.
Possess critical thinking and good analytical skills and is resourceful and solution oriented.
Possess strong leadership and good interpersonal/communication skills and able to work under pressure to meet reporting deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Willingness to travel and stay in challenging locations/working environments.
