  • A Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a closely related field from an accredited university.
  • Active professional membership in a recognized accounting body (e.g., MIA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, MICPA).
Responsibilities
  • Amalgamation regional financial and management reporting for estates, mills, and research centers, ensuring all ledgers tally, and authorize uploads to IBM Cognos.
  • Manage regional banking portals, authorizing corporate payments, fund requisitions, and corporate bank guarantees.
  • Formulate annual budget parameters (e.g., retirement benefits, depreciation schedules), coordinate biotech and research budgets, compile the final Budget Management Report, and present budget slides to senior management.
  • Manage corporate and indirect tax compliance, including SST submissions, CP204A tax revisions (at 6th, 9th, or 11th-month intervals), transfer pricing, and coordinate audits, and queries with LHDN.
  • Maintain strict financial integrity by reviewing payment vouchers cancellations, cheque voids, and SAP ledger reversals, and compute the quarterly fair value of biological assets (MFRS 141).
  • Act as the Plantation division Risk Management Coordinator to present risk assessment profiles to senior management, while leading finance transformation projects, system enhancement, AI tools, and SOP implementations.
Job Requirements
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a closely related field from an accredited university.
  • Active professional membership in a recognized accounting body (e.g., MIA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, MICPA).
  • A minimum of 10 years of post-qualification experience in accounting or financial management, with at least 3 to 5 years in a senior or supervisory capacity.
  • Substantial experience in agricultural or plantation accounting, with hands-on exposure to oil palm, coconut planting, or diversified cash crops.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of ERP accounting systems, particularly SAP.
  • Exceptional communication skills with a proven track records of mentoring accounts executives and staff, driving operational efficiency, and working effectively both independently and within cross-functional teams.
