Executive, Accounts
Minimum 3 to 4 years relevant experience in commercial accounting (preferably in manufacturing industry) or in professional service (audit / accounting firm) with computerized accounting environment.
- A recognized Degree and / LCCI Higher Diploma in Accounting
- Partial ACCA / CIMA are encouraged to apply
Responsibilities
Perform monthly financial accounts closing and prepare financial reports accurately on a timely basis.
Ensure all posting of entries for payments, receipts, and all other entries accurately on a timely basis.
Involve in monthly inventories stocktake and resolving any inventory related issues, includes ensuring inventories are completely and accurately captured in the financial accounts / reports.
Review and verify any tasks and/or any documents prepared and completed by Account Officers, including but not limited to Account Receivables & Account Payables Reports, Bank Reconciliations, Payment Vouchers, Inventories, and etc.
Prepare monthly performance analysis and costing analysis with good quality on timely basis.
Prepare audit schedules, information and data required by auditor, as well as attend any queries from auditors during external and internal audits.
Prepare tax schedules, information and data required by tax agents as well as attend any queries from tax agents for finalization of the company’s annual income tax filing.
Responsible to supervise, guide and coaching the Account Officers in their respective job functions and ensure the department operation is running smoothly.
Liaise with auditors, tax agent, company secretary, regulatory authorities and any other departments, to ensure the compliance with statutory and audit requirements.
Liaise with other department personnels on any outstanding issues which affect the accuracy of accounting records.
Assist Finance Manager in annual budget preparation, quarterly tax provision computations, estimate of tax payables, 6th, 9th and 11th month revision of estimated tax payables, as well as planning, implementing and executing any other business projects and assignments related to the company.
To perform any other tasks and assignments assigned by the FM /CEO from time to time.
Job Requirements
Capable to handle full spectrum of Account and Finance functions.
Understanding of overall manufacturing industry operations and account functions.
Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
Mature, pro-active, independent, strong analytical, meticulous and able to meet deadlines.
Good team player with positive attitude, good team spirit, leadership skills, problem solving skills, good interpersonal and communication skills with all levels of staffs and external parties.
Computer literate, proficient in MS Excel, Word, Power Point and experience in working under computerized accounting environment. Knowledge of Auto Count and/or SAP Accounting System is an added advantage.
Proficient in both written and spoken of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
