Assistant Manager, Estate (Based in Pahang)
Minimum 3 years of experience in plantation operations, preferably in oil palm.
Bachelor's Degree in Plantation Management, Agribusiness or a related field.
Responsibilities
Assist the Plantation Manager in overseeing daily estate operations, ensuring smooth and efficient management of plantation activities.
Oversee operations of oil palm and/or rubber divisions, including nurseries, field development, harvesting, and routine maintenance.
Manage infrastructure development, including roads, bridges, and village facilities, while controlling budgets and costs effectively.
Supervise a large workforce, review mandore records, and monitor daily FFB grading reports.
Ensure compliance with MSPO and RSPO standards, including training and documentation.
Identify harvesters with disciplinary issues and take appropriate follow-up actions in the field. Conduct regular field inspections and verify FFB grading.
Conduct muster calls for General Workers and Harvesters, maintain accurate records (costing books, checkrolls, muster chits), and ensure timely submission of daily reports.
Perform audits of field records, including EPMS/SAP transactions, and verify stock levels of chemicals and fertilizers.
Monitor workforce productivity and ensure adherence to operational standards.
Perform any other duties as assigned by Management or the Company.
Job Requirements
Candidates must posses at least a Bachelor's Degree in Plantation Management, Agribusiness or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in plantation operations, preferably in oil palm.
Knowledge of estate management practices, including field operations, harvesting, and workforce supervision.
Willingness to learn, proactive, and innovative in improving estate efficiency and productivity.
