Accounts Executive
Minimum 3 years’ experience in the related field. (Preferably audit background)
Minimum Bachelor Degree in Accounting
Responsibilities
Account Receivable
o Prepare AR aging reports, and update collection status by monitoring customer account details for non-payments, delayed and other irregularities.
o Ensure timely follow-up with marketing
o For AR disputes and discrepancies as reverted by customers, promptly communicate to Marketing for next course of action to speed resolution and collection.
o Ensure that receipts are accurately accounted for, and promptly matched against accounts receivable.
o Assist in month-end closing activities.
o Carry out reporting activities and analysis according to specific deadlines.
o Prepare Weekly/Monthly Forex Report and check export documents.
o Prepare month end/Quarter report (e.g., Balance sheet and P & L Report Consolidated Report, Sales analysis, MFRS7.)
o To solve problems encounter within the department as well as with other departments.
o Ensure the update of sales proceeds by staff are done promptly
o Checking daily sales for forex coverage.
o To liaise with bankers regarding export proceeds and forex contracts confirmation.
o To ensure inter-company balances and transactions are reconciled
o To ensure e-invoicing for non-trade are submitted on timely basis and reconcile between book and IRB system
o To assist into continuous improvement of the AR Procedures.
o Attend to the annual statutory audit by the external auditors.
o Ad-hoc tasks as directed by the superior.
Job Requirements
o Minimum Bachelor Degree in Accounting
o Minimum 3 years’ experience in the related field. (Preferably audit background)
o Able to handle audits and reporting.
o Computer literate especially in SAP and Excel.
o Strong in analytical skills
o Preference Data Science Knowledge
