| 2021 | March | IOI Corporation Berhad (IOI) achieved a significant breakthrough in the dispute resolution for IOI Pelita Plantation Sdn Bhd’s land in Miri, Sarawak, where IOI Pelita will relinquish its interest over 5,000 hectares (ha) of native land, out of the total area of approximately 9,000 ha. The land will be declared a Native Communal Reserve by the Sarawak state government. The final dispute settlement will be discussed in the negotiation stage. |
