March |
- IOI Land Singapore Pte Ltd and a Singaporean public listed company, Ho Bee
Investment Ltd won a bid to buy 1.5 hectares of leasehold land on Sentosa Island
in Singapore. The land has been approved for a condominium development of up to
a maximum of 200 units.
- IOI Properties Bhd together with Rakan Cop launched the Rakan Cop programme
for Puchong district with aim to create a safe township and to forge better
co-operation between the Police and the Puchong communities

- Puteri Mart, the first private wet market complex in Puchong was officially
opened for business. It is another successful project by IOI Properties which
bring a new shopping experience to the local communities.

- IOI undertook the construction of the new SJK (C) Ladang Harcroft building
in Bandar Puchong Jaya at its sole cost and the school was officially handed
over to the Minister of Education during an official opening by YAB Dato’ Seri
Abdullah Badawi, Prime Minister of Malaysia.

primary school in Puchong Jaya township.

- Ground breaking ceremony for Market Square, Puchong's first private wet
market located in Bandar Puteri Puchong township, by YB Lau Yeng Peng, MP of
Puchong.

- IOI Properties Berhad organized its first ever "IOI COMMUNITY RUN 2005" on
Sun, 27/11/05 at Town Park, Bandar Puteri Puchong. The main objective of the
event was to promote a healthy activity and to foster closer ties among the
Puchong residents.

- IOI won the bid for development of a Gems and Jewellery Park in Hyderabad,
India. The five-storey complex, to be built on a 2.4-acre site, will have a
total floor space of 220,000 sq ft and would be developed at a cost of around
RM35 million.

- Contributed 50 acres of land in Karak, Pahang for a Tun Abdul Rahman (TAR)
College.

- Opening of the RM 50 million IOI Mall shopping complex in Bandar Putra,
Kulai. IOI Mall is the new landmark in the town of Kulai and Senai as well as a

- IOI officially handed over a RM5 million 2 storey police station and a 28

ceremony graced by the Menteri Besar of Selangor and Inspector General of

- The IOI Mall, a RM100 million mega shopping centre situated in Bandar
Puchong Jaya, commenced operations in May 1996. It offers all the conveniences
of modern shopping, entertainment, food and recreational activities under one
roof. It was officially opened by the Menteri Besar of Selangor on 15th November
1996.
