- 24 Associates from Putrajaya Marriott Hotel did the hotel proud when astounding results were announced at the Culinaire Malaysia 2007. Putrajaya Marriott Hotel took home a total of 2 Gold Medals, 5 Silver and 17 Bronze in the categories of Fish/Seafood Main Course, Cocktail & Fruit Flambé, Fruit Flambé, Cocktail, Apprentice Main Course, Mocktail, Table Setting, Confectionery, Pastry Showpiece, Meat/Poultry Main Course and the Dream Team Challenge.

2005-2006 in the category of Excellence in Hotel Services (Five Star - City) for
its excellent service and effort in promoting the tourism industry during the

January |
- 3 January 2003 - Charity Celebration with orphans from 3 orphanages.
Joint sponsorship with THR (Time Highway Radio and Helmi Resources) to bring
festive celebrations (Hari Raya Aidilfitri and Christmas) to underprivileged
children from 3 orphanages totaling about 150 persons. The event was even more
memorable for the children as THR invited several popular artists to grace the
event such as Anuar Zain, Fauziah Latiff, Noraniza Idris and many more. Some of
them even belted out their popular songs for everyone's enjoyment. Hotel General
Manager, Muhamad Ariff Ng gave out "Duit Raya" to the
children.

- On 1 August 2003, the Renaissance Palm Garden Hotel was renamed as Palm
Garden Hotel. The name change promises a new direction for the hotel in
providing even more personalized and distinctive services enhanced by our
signature of warm Malaysia hospitality.

- Palm Garden Golf Club beat the other 220 participating golf courses from
around Malaysia to win the award for the "Third Best Golf Course" in Malaysia.
However, greater honour was received when the Club received the "Best Customer
Service Club" and was in second place for the "Most Memorable Golf
Club".

- Putrajaya Marriott Hotel opens at IOI Resort. It is a five star deluxe hotel
designed in elegance with 488 luxuriously appointed and international standard
guestrooms and suites.
- Opening of Palm Villa Golf and Country Clubhouse in Johor. It consists of
40,000 sq. ft golf club house together with a sports and recreational complex.
The outdoor facilities include a 15-bays driving range, putting greens and
27-holes golf course.

- Palm Garden Golf Club played host to 30 teams from seven countries -
Australia, England, France, Indonesia, Jersey, Republic of South Africa,
Scotland and Malaysia in the first qualifying round of the 2002 World Amateur
Inter-Team Golf Championship, organized by Tourism Malaysia.

Garden Golf Club on 29 June 2002. 110 best finishers out of the initial 6,000
golfers congregated in the golfing haven to prove their
prowess.
