2012

April : IOI Loders Croklaan Americas unveiled its palm oil processing plant in Channahon, Illinois. Reputed to the largest in Western Hemisphere, the plant expansion project named APEX (Advanced Palm Expansion) doubled the existing facility’s capacity and included new storage tanks, a Gerstenberg-Schroeder votator system, reactor systems, deodorizer and more.

March : IOI Loders Croklaan Asia launched its very first Creative Studio and its new office complex located in Pasir Gudang. The Creative Studio Asia is an outcome of a successful penetration of the concept in the Loders Croklaan European facility.

2010

June : IOI-Loders Croklaan Europe officially launched Rotterdam Palm Oil Plant Complex, a new, cutting-edge refinery at the Netherlands on 16 June 2010. A breakthrough in innovation and sustainability, this new plant consolidates IOI’s position as the first company in the world to produce enzymatically rearranged ingredients for food manufacturers that is consistent and cost-effective.

The following day, IOI-Loders Croklaan also launched its first Creative Studio in Wormerveer, the Netherlands. A unique innovative concept for the confectionery market, the studio is inspired from the company’s motto Let’s Create Together. It is a center where clients can dream up new products, learn recipes directly from world-class chocolatiers and work with dedicated specialists to transform ideas into a commercially viable reality.

2009

May : Lipid Nutrition introduced VitaTrin®, a new palm-based tocotrienol, which belongs to the vitamin E family, and has a very powerful antioxidant action which could prevent tissue and cell damage. It is made from palm oil, which comes out of the Loders Croklaan Group factory in Rotterdam.

2007

March : PinnoThin™, the all-natural appetite suppressant, won The Most Innovative Ingredient Award at the Slimming Ingredients Germany 2007 conference. It was also highly commended in the Best New Health Initiative Category of the Dairy Innovation Awards 2007 during the Global Dairy Congress.

October : IOI-Loders Croklaan’s Couva™ 850 NH was nominated for the Most Innovative Food Ingredient Fi Europe Award 2007.

2006
