March : Parkson Corporation Sdn Bhd and Golden Screen Cinemas Sdn Bhd signed lease agreements with Dreammont Development Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of IOI Corporation Sdn Bhd, to be anchor tenants of IOI City Mall at IOI Resort City, Putrajaya.
2012
January : IOI Corporation Bhd through its subsidiary, Multi
Wealth (Singapore) Pte Ltd, had successfully won the tender for a 24,417.6 sq m
of land at Jalan Lempeng in Singapore for S$408 million (RM995.5 million). The
99-year leasehold land near Clementi Town Centre is intended for residential
development comprising of condominiums units.
April : The newly refurbished 18-hole Palm Garden Golf Club
at IOI Resort City was officially opened to public on 1st April.
September : IOI Corporation Bhd’s 99.8% owned Palmy Max Ltd
received approval to set up IOI Xiamen (Properties) Co. Ltd in Xiamen in the
People’s Republic of China. Incorporated on 27 September 2012 with a total
registered capital of USD 250 million, IOI Xiamen will undertake a mixed-use
development in Jimei District in Xiamen.
2011
January : IOI Properties Bhd signed a collaboration
agreement with Observision Sdn. Bhd. and Winet Telecoms Sdn. Bhd to deliver the
most advanced broadband network to all the townships in Klang Valley.
February : IOI Properties Bhd launched its first ever
community free shuttle services for its township residents to travel from their
houses to commercial areas within Bandar Puchong Jaya and Bandar Puteri Puchong.
The event was officiated by ADUN of Kinrara YB Teresa Kok.
April : IOI entered into a joint venture with City
Development Limited for the development of a piece of land located along Beach
Road Singapore (South Beach Project) which include the development of premium
office space, luxury hotel, high-end retail outlets and prestigious city
residences.
2009
April : IOI Properties Bhd
launched IOI Privilege Card, the 1st community card in Malaysia on 18 April
2009, with the objective to encourage residents to shop and dine within the IOI
townships and enjoy savings at the same time. It was launched by the Kinrara’s
State Assemblyman YB Teresa Kok together with IOI Group Executive Director Dato’
Lee Yeow Chor.
2008
January : IOI Properties (Singapore) Pte Ltd and Ho Bee had
successfully jointly tendered for the Pinnacle Collection, a 5.3-acre 99-year
leasehold land parcel located at Sentosa Cove, Singapore for a total
consideration of SCD1,097,499,999 for a luxury condominium development.
May : IOI Properties Bhd’s subsidiary Multi Wealth (S) Pte
Ltd has acquired 53% interest in Mergui Development Pte Ltd. A joint-venture
company that would buy of a freehold parcel at Mergui Land in Singapore and
redevelop it into high-rise residential project.
November : The 3rd IOI Community was held on 9th November
2008 which attracted an overwhelming response of over 4,000 enthusiastic
participants. RM20,000 was donated to Shuang Fu Disabled Independent Living
Association, RM10,000 to Rumah Shalom and RM3,000 each to seven secondary
schools.
2007
March : IOI Land Singapore Pte Ltd and a Singaporean public
listed company, Ho Bee Investment Ltd won a bid to buy 1.5 hectares of leasehold
land on Sentosa Island in Singapore. The land has been approved for a
condominium development of up to a maximum of 200 units.
IOI Properties Bhd together with Rakan Cop launched
the Rakan Cop programme for Puchong district with aim to create a safe township
and to forge better co-operation between the Police and the Puchong communities
June : Puteri Mart, the first private wet market complex in
Puchong was officially opened for business. It is another successful project by
IOI Properties which bring a new shopping experience to the local
communities.
November : IOI undertook the construction of the new SJK (C)
Ladang Harcroft building in Bandar Puchong Jaya at its sole cost and the school
was officially handed over to the Minister of Education during an official
opening by YAB Dato’ Seri Abdullah Badawi, Prime Minister of Malaysia.
2006
February : IOI Properties has sponsored land and building
the RM5 million Chinese primary school in Puchong Jaya township.
June : Ground breaking ceremony for Market Square, Puchong's
first private wet market located in Bandar Puteri Puchong township, by YB Lau
Yeng Peng, MP of Puchong.
November : The 2nd IOI Community Run was held in Bandar
Puteri Puchong which saw over 2,500 participants. A total of RM32,000 was
donated to various organisations including Shuang Fu Disabled Independent Living
Association, Rumah Shalom and four schools in Puchong.
2005
November : IOI Community Run was launched as a community
event to promote healthy living and foster a closer relationship among Puchong
residents and nearby communities. A total of RM35,000 was donated to House of
Joy, Rumah Shalom and five schools in
Puchong. |
