The IOI Group's core business is in palm oil plantation. Its integrated
palm oil business comprises upstream cultivation of oil palm and downstream
processing and manufacture of oil palm produce, covering the refining,
oleochemicals and specialty oils and fats.
The other business of IOI Group is property development and investment.
The development of self-contained sub-urban townships is located in
growth areas within the Klang Valley and Southern Johor. Property investment
mainly comprises steady rental income derived from commercial complexes
both retail and office.
Incidental to its property business, the Group has made forays into
the leisure sector by developing a small fraction of its vast land bank
of ex-plantation land. IOI is currently operating two beautiful resorts
in Malaysia - IOI Resort and Palm Villa Golf and Country Resort.

are undertaken through its 100% owned subsidiaries, IOI
Oleochemical Industries Sdn Bhd and Pan Century Oleochemicals
Sdn Bhd. Their principal products include fatty acids, glycerine,
soap noodles, and metallic stearates. IOI is the world's
largest vegetable-based oleochemicals manufacturer.

The specialty oils and fats business
of the Group is carried out by Loders Croklaan which has
manufacturing operations in the Netherlands, the United
States, Malaysia, Egypt and Canada, and sales offices

oils and fats technology base in the industry and has
a corporate history tracing back to 1891, and is a global
