confident of a recovery in the residential sector, has lined up various projects
to be launched this year.

At the IOI Resort in Putrajaya an exclusive bungalow enclave will be built on
the highest peak of Putrajaya at 140m above sea level.
Offering a breathtaking view of the country's federal administrative capital
and the Kuala Lumpur city centre, 93 bungalow lots ranging from 20,000 sq ft to
an acre, will be offered for sale in late July.
IOI director David Tan said the Bukit Puteri precinct would greatly enhance
the resort ambience of the sprawling 420-acre IOI Resort and complement the
majesty of Putrajaya.
The residential precinct of the RM400mil resort also features 200 units of
Beverly Rise condominiums which were completed and occupied since 1996. Another
410 units of the 1,500-sq ft condominiums will be launched for sale next year
from RM300,000 each.
Tan said the Beverly Row comprising 48 bungalow units were for long-term
rental of between two and three years.
The spaciously designed and partially furnished bungalows with built-up areas
from 5,000 sq ft are rented at between RM8,000 and RM12,000 a month.
He said 42 more units would be built in the next two to three years and they
would also be for long-term rental.
“We believe in the dynamic growth potential
of the Putrajaya Corridor and will continue to introduce new features to meet
the growing needs of the region,” he said.
IOI Square, the office precinct of IOI Resort, offers two 11-storey blocks
with total gross space of 480,000 sq ft. The IOI group headquarters will be
occupying five floors of 120,000 sq ft when it moves there in September. The
balance space is for rental from RM2.80 psf.
“The IOI Resort, opened in 1992, has gained popularity as a recreational
landmark for the fast expanding population of Putrajaya and Cyberjaya,” Tan told

facilities for night golfing were also available.
