Palm Garden Hotel organised a donation drive on 3 June 2009 to help out the
National Blood Bank.
Acidchem International Sdn Bhd's Community Service Committee visited the
Persatuan Kebajikan Kanak-kanak Cacat Yee Ran Jing Sheh on 5 June 2009 as part
of its charitable cause to help the poor and needy. Cash and contributions in
kind were also donated to the residents.

Yayasan organised a Chinese New Year visit to Rumah Love & Care Kajang,
a home to 24 senior citizens. IOI volunteers decorated the old folks’ home with
Chinese New Year deco. Besides treated with a sumptuous lunch and interactive
game, each resident also received an ang pow, mandarin oranges and festive
goodies comprising basic necessities, cookies and food in IOI’s “Going GREEN,
Living CLEAN” bag.
IOI Mart Kulai organised a “Celebrating the Year of the Ox with Orphans” in conjunction with the festive season of Chinese New Year. 50 orphans from the Handicapped & Mentally Disabled Children Association Centre in Johor Bahru were treated to an entertaining day of singing, drama and dance performance plus lion dance showcase.
Yayasan donated RM5,000 to SJK (C) Kg Gajah, Kluang as funding aid and purchase of teaching tools. School uniforms and school bags were also donated to the poor students.

In conjunction with the Christmas celebration, Putrajaya Marriott Hotel held “An Enchanted Christmas” charity benefit where around 50 children from the Rumah Keluarga Kami in Kajang were treated to a Christmas lunch cum party with Malaysian female artiste Jaclyn Victor and the hotel’s senior executives.
IOI Mall organised a charity project called “The Heavenly Gift with Community At Heart” inviting patrons to spread love from 5th till 24th December by choosing to help an orphan or a needy family whose profiles and their Christmas wish list were hung on the Christmas trees.
In the spirit of giving and sharing, Palm Garden Hotel sold gingerbread bricks to the staff and hotel guests. The proceeds were handed to Persatuan Kanak-Kanak Istimewa Kajang.

15 students received scholarships amounting to RM489,000 from Yayasan Tan
Sri Lee Shin Cheng (TSLSC) during a Scholarship Awards Presentation ceremony
held at Palm Garden Hotel on 29 November. The CSR effort was part of Yayasan’s
initiative to groom these promising students to excel for the country.
Yayasan has organized a Teambuilding Program for the orphans from Rumah
Shalom at Palm Garden Hotel on 29 November. This program was aimed to assist
these children to build their own self-image, self-esteem and confidence. The
children have also learnt how to build friendship and develop trust amongst each
other as well as to gain an insight into their own and others’ feelings and
behaviours.
IOI Properties sponsored RM26,000 for the Putrajaya Waterski World Cup 2008, an event jointly organized by International Water Ski Federation and Putrajaya Corporation.

Palm Garden Hotel and Palm Garden Golf Club joined forces to invite 50 orphans from Rumah Nur Hikmah and 50 abandoned children from Persatuan Kebajikan Anak Pesakit HIV / AIDS Nurul Iman Malaysia for a sumptuous Hari Raya Charity Open House.
